Tour Send-Off: What a great night!
May 26th, 2009Thank you to everyone who braved the Melbourne rain and made this such a memorable night.
If you couldn’t make it…
Michelle Whelan and Matt Kenneally kicked things off with the world premier of Michelle’s beautiful multimedia piece ‘Aurland’.
Helen Begley showcased her classy songwriting and dark, sensuous voice, playing songs from her upcoming solo album ‘The Bride’.
Greg Arnold, who produced Chloe’s new album, showed why he’s an Australian folk-rock legend, and let us in on some of the stories behind mixing ‘Outside’ in Nashville.
When Chloe, Chris and Teal finally hit the stage, they were in full flight: uplifting, joyous and emotional. They took the spellbound audience on a journey through the new album, as well as giving us a sneak peak of some new material. It was a very special night, and a perfect send-off. Bon Voyage!

The new album.
August 30th, 2008Well, the wheels are finally in motion, the new album – Outside – is in the pipeline and launch tours are being booked in Canada, Europe and Australia for 2009.
It might have been a while coming, but it’s been worth the wait. Outside is an absolutely beautiful album, and an exciting follow up to White Street.
Produced by longstanding producer Greg Arnold (Carus, Skipping Girl Vinegar, Things of Stone and Wood), ‘Outside’s’ road led from Atlantis studios in Melbourne to Nashville TN, where it was mixed at Alex the Great studios by alt-country legend Brad Jones (Josh Rouse, Bob Evans).
So now, preparations are underway… and when it’s ready to be unveiled, there’ll champagne and singing from the rooftops! (But don’t worry, if you can’t hear said rooftop singing from your place, there’ll be updates right here). Read the rest of this entry »
